"We have had a good and constructive dialogue with Thomas about the current situation and the way forward. Together, we have agreed that this is the best solution for both the club and Thomas," says Andreas Gärdsback, chairman of the board of Leksands IF.
Johansson took office during the 2018–2019 season.
“During his time, the club has established itself in the country's top league and taken steps in its sporting development,” says Gärdsback.
Jesper Ollas will take over from Johansson for the rest of the season, the club says.
Leksand is ten points above the qualifying line with the same number of matches left to play.
