The film is based on the novel with the same name, written by JP Monninger and revolves around the American Heather who is only supposed to go on vacation to Europe before she goes home to the USA and starts her perfect adult life. But once in Europe, she encounters a mysterious stranger who she falls in love with.

The film premieres on the streaming service Prime Video on August 20.

Madelyn Cline is one of Hollywood's most talked-about young actors after her breakthrough in the popular Netflix series "Outer Banks". In other roles, Josh Lucas and KJ Apa are seen.

It is the first film in seven years that the 79-year-old Hallström makes in Hollywood. His latest film "Hilma" from 2022, was produced by Swedish Viaplay and thereafter the director has made the TV series "The Darkness".
