Mando Diao's Fröding interpretations on "Strövtåg i hembygden" became a great success. The question is whether Larz-Kristerz can repeat the same feat with the new compositions of Karlfeldt's poems?
Composer, producer, and interpreter of the texts is Sören "Sulo" Karlsson, who has previously worked with, among others, Kikki Danielsson. The first single "Låt brusa barn, låt brusa" is released on April 25, while the album comes out in September.
Mika Larsson, granddaughter of Erik Axel Karlfeldt, says in a press release that it has been "overwhelming" to follow the work.
"Karlfeldt's linguistic brilliance and shyness have kept him locked in a fine room for nearly a century. But here he is freed! With gentle audacity, they take him with them onto the dance floor, and it's clear that he thrives there!"
The tour starts on September 26 in Västervik.
