The 24-year-old guard has missed Miami's last five games due to a sprained foot, but he returned on Friday night local time.
In almost 30 minutes of playing time, Larsson scored 21 points, a career-best in the NBA.
Miami won the game 126–111 - a welcome victory as the team had previously lost eight of the last nine games in the American major league.
Larsson is praised in the local newspaper Miami Herald as “exceptional.” Coach Erik Spoelstra also highlights the Swede. Spoelstra believes that Larsson contributes a lot, even in the games where he doesn’t score many points himself.
He does so much that you can't really touch, says the coach.
However, the team statistics speak for themselves. Miami has won 12 of 17 games in which Larsson has started.
