Larsson played 23 minutes last night and for the fifth game in a row he was on the field for more than 20 minutes.
"He has earned every minute. Pelle is a player who does all the little things right and his teammates are better when he is on the court," Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra told Aftonbladet .
"It means a lot that they appreciate my job and what I do on the pitch. I have to make sure to do even more of it and not relax because I have been given this role," says Larsson.
But it could have been the playoffs after just over a minute against Denver – if the accidental hit he received from Cameron Johnson had hit harder.
"Yes, I got a real slap on the jaw, on the jawbone," says Larsson.
Larsson's NBA scoring best is 17 points, which he scored against the Los Angeles Lakers earlier this week and against the Charlotte Hornets last week.
This time the harvest stopped at six points, but Larsson also accounted for three rebounds and three assists.
I continue to deliver and play hard. That's what they demand from me when I get a lot of playing time, to play hard. Today we maybe didn't play hard enough. It was a bad match, but this "road trip" as a whole has been good, Larsson tells Aftonbladet.
Denver superstar Nikola Jokić was noted for 33 points, 15 rebounds and 16 assists.
