Strannegård will work to broaden the activities of Princess Estelle's Cultural Foundation to more than just the sculpture park.
"This work is central and continues, but we now want to broaden the activities and create more opportunities for culture to reach and engage people throughout Sweden," says Prince Daniel in a press release.
At Handels, Strannegård has been recognized for his cultural initiatives. He has held several assignments in the cultural sphere, including as chairman of the board of Moderna Museet.
He will take office on July 1, 2027, after his term as rector expires.
