This year's crime writer: Lars Kepler. This year's Swedish crime novel: ”Död mans kvinna” by Katarina Wennstam. This is what it looks like when Bookbeat hands out the prizes for 2025 at the Book Fair in Gothenburg.

The Audiobook Publisher's prices are based on data where "popularity, listening through and ratings" from Bookbeats nearly 300,000 Swedish listeners have been weighed together.

It is the third time that Alexandra and Alexander Ahndoril, who write under the pseudonym Lars Kepler, receive the prize. Katarina Wennstam has also won the prize for the Swedish thriller of the year previously, as recently as 2024 with "Döda kvinnor förlåter inte".

For the Swedish thriller voice of the year, Jonas Malmsjö was elected – who also won the prize for the third year in a row.
