The trio, who were arrested on Tuesday and detained on Friday, consists of two men in their 50s and a woman in her 30s.
According to information provided to the newspaper, they are suspected of being involved in the smuggling of approximately half a ton of cocaine that has entered Sweden in a container via the port of Helsingborg.
The responsible prosecutor, Jeanette Sprimont at the national unit against international and organized crime, does not want to comment on what suspicions exist against the three individuals.
The detainees deny the crime.
