Länsförsäkringar to Cut 400 Jobs in Drive to Save 2 Billion Kronor

Länsförsäkringar (a Swedish insurance group) gives 400 employees notice of layoffs. The company will save two billion kronor (about $190 million).

The press release states that the group “needs to streamline the organization, change working methods and reduce its cost base by at least two billion.”

The notice affects Länsförsäkringar AB and its subsidiaries, but not the 23 county companies.
