Landeskog began his scoring spree by making it 2–1, barely halfway through the game, when he sent the puck past Filip Gustavsson in the Minnesota net from right in front of the crease.
Gustavsson was making his first playoff start, but had a poor night and made 18 saves.
Landeskog followed up with an assist on teammate Nathan MacKinnon's 4–1 goal in the final period.
Swede Marcus Johansson cut the deficit with a goal for Minnesota. In the end, Colorado still won the game. They now lead the series 2–0.
