The Prime Minister's press secretary Siri Steijer herself tells the newspaper that she behind the scenes helped Landerholm to produce the messages that he published about the security incident at Gällöfsta course center.
"I helped Henrik Landerholm to compile different parts of a text that he decided to post on X, with comments and input from various experts at the Government Offices," says Steijer in an SMS to DN.
The posts on the X platform - which contained several inaccuracies and downplayed the damage of what had happened - are part of the indictment against Landerholm. He states in questioning with the Security Police that he "pressed the button" on the question of whether it was he who wrote the posts.
Steijer, who has worked for Kristersson for six years, is one of the Prime Minister's closest associates and leads his communication.
Landerholm left the post as national security adviser when a criminal investigation against him was launched in January this year and on Tuesday he was charged with gross negligence with confidential information.
He denies the crime.
