In a press release from the publisher, the book is described as "a warm, personal and heartfelt story" in which Laleh talks about her life.
"At first I thought I would write the book a little on the side, in peace and quiet, but instead I was thrown straight into a world that had been invisible to me before," she says in the press release.
"I Saw How We Were Stars" is due on September 18.
Laleh released her self-titled debut album in 2005. Her latest album, "Jag är," came out last year.
