The song "Hurra!" will be released on February 21 and, just in time for the birthday in May, an animated music video will also be released. The celebration of Pippi will continue throughout 2015 with various events, exhibitions, and collaborations both in Sweden and internationally.
"I was very happy but also curious when I was asked to do Pippi's birthday song. How would it sound, really? I wanted to write a song where Pippi is still the strongest in the world, but now also in the afterlife, and where the big questions in life are mostly about what you feel like doing, where a bland 'I'll do what I want' is the only big truth to relate to", says Laleh in a press release from Universal.
