Los Angeles Lakers' Jaxson Hayes has been suspended for one game. The reason: the basketball player pushed down the opposing team's mascot before an NBA game between the Lakers and Washington. The incident occurred before the start of the game when the mascot, who goes by the name of "G-Wiz", was about to leave the court with a large flag in his hands. As he passed the Lakers' bench, however, he was pushed down by Hayes and fell to the court.

In addition to the suspension, Hayes will forfeit his salary for the game he will miss, several American media outlets report.
