Joakim Lagergren made a fantastic round the second day of the European Tour golf tournament at the Irish The K Club. The Swede is in sole lead after having played 62 strokes, ten under par. The round contained nine birdies and one eagle – and a blunder through a bogey on a par three hole.
The 33-year-old is -12 in total and is one stroke ahead of the Frenchman Adrien Saddier and five strokes ahead of a quintet of players, including the superstar Rory McIlroy.
Lagergren seems to thrive at The K Club. Last year he won there in a tournament on the European Challenge Tour.
