Sony Pictures and the Chinese toy company Pop Mart are behind the film, which will be a hybrid of live-action and animation, the BBC reports.
The as-yet-untitled film is directed by Paul King, who previously made “Paddington” and “Wonka,” among others.
It is not known when the film is scheduled to premiere.
Labubus has become a global sensation in recent years, making Pop Mart bigger than Barbie maker Mattel.
