The Dockworkers' Union receives a green light from the Labor Court (AD) to continue with its announced strikes. According to AD, the industrial actions are not unlawful, as the employer Sveriges Hamnar has claimed.
The trade union has since May carried out a number of strikes to achieve, among other things, strengthened protection for elected representatives.
Sveriges Hamnar, on the other hand, believes that the union is trying to push aside the existing collective agreement with Transport.
"This will have spread effects. Now it's apparently open season for breakaway unions to strike their way to their own terms and outcompete the LO unions and their collective agreements", says Johan Grauers, chief negotiator at Sveriges Hamnar, in a comment.
