LaBeouf, known for films such as "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" and "Transformers," was arrested during Mardi Gras weekend in New Orleans on suspicion of two counts of petty assault.
He had been acting aggressively and had gotten into a fight with two people outside a bar. LaBeouf was arrested but later released. After his release, he was seen drinking beer and posing with fans while watching the festivities.
On Thursday, a judge ordered the actor to take a drug test, return to rehab and undergo weekly drug tests. Shia LaBeouf has not been formally arraigned and was released on bail of just over 900,000 kronor.
