Infantino's proposal to sell shares in the World Cup and expand the championship to 64 teams are just a few of the reasons for Tebas to criticise the FIFA president.
Infantino is not someone who contributes to the growth of football. On the contrary, his project destroys the essence of the sport. I have noticed this leadership style for a long time, everyone else seems to be noticing it only now, says Tebas.
It was at the end of July that Infantino presented the World Cup proposal.
"It doesn't surprise me. This is just the tip of the iceberg of what has been going on within Fifa, but also within football in general," says Tebas.
