Kyiv targeted by Russian missile attack, multiple explosions reported

The Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, was targeted by Russian attacks late Monday night. The Kyiv Independent reports several explosions in the city.

The Ukrainian Air Force estimates that Kyiv was attacked with at least six missiles at 10 p.m. In the hours that followed, more explosions were heard in the city, according to The Kyiv Independent.

The Ukrainian military said the missiles were detected by radar, but the air force received no information when they were launched in Russia.

It is unclear whether anyone was injured in the attacks.

Earlier on Monday, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Telegram that at least two people had been killed in a drone attack on a high-rise building in the city.
