The Ukrainian capital Kyiv is under attack from ballistic missiles overnight Tuesday, according to the city's mayor, Vitali Klitschko.
At least one person has been killed in the attacks.
"The city is under ballistic attack. Stay in shelters," Vitali Klitschko writes on Telegram.
Zaporizhzhia was also attacked late Monday evening.
According to the region's governor, Ivan Fedorov, five people have been killed and at least 20 more injured.
Shortly after 1 a.m., air raid sirens were reactivated in the region and residents were urged to seek shelter.
