Around midnight, the Kuwaiti military said air defenses were countering “hostile rocket and drone attacks,” and people were urged to follow safety instructions.

Around the same time, air defenses were activated in Bahrain, and earlier - on Tuesday evening - Iran attacked targets in Jordan. Authorities in the country said several Iranian missiles were shot down.

Shortly before 1:00 a.m. Swedish time, the US military announced that it had completed tonight's wave of attacks against Iran.

"US forces have carried out attacks on targets belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, including air defense facilities, radar systems, naval assets and facilities, mine-laying assets, and communications facilities," the US military command Centcom said on X.

Explosions occurred during the evening in the Iranian city of Bandar Abbas and in Sirik on the Strait of Hormuz, according to the Iranian state news agency Fars. An airport in Jiroft was also reportedly attacked in a wave of American attacks.

At least four people were killed and around 50 injured when a wedding in a village in the Sirik area was hit by one of the American attacks, the Iranian Red Crescent reported. The information has not been confirmed elsewhere.

The war flared up again on Sunday - after a month of relative calm - when US forces struck missile launchers on the island of Larak, which were said to be used to launch naval mines in the Strait of Hormuz.

Iran responded overnight Monday with drones and missiles targeting American targets in Jordan and the United Arab Emirates.
