"We are taking this seriously and have decided to act on a precautionary principle and keep the school closed tomorrow, Monday," it says in a message to staff, students and guardians on Sunday evening, Göteborgs-Posten writes.
Stigert Pettersson, head of administration for Preschool and Primary School in Kungsbacka Municipality, confirms that a threat has been made against the school.
"As I understand it, there is a threat to bomb the school on Monday," he told GP.
The police contacted the school this weekend after becoming aware of the threat and have opened a preliminary investigation into unlawful threats.
