Lucas Bergvall is already on the long injury list at Tottenham, and now we can also write in the club's second Swede.
After a quarter of an hour, the 25-year-old was given a real blow by Crystal Palace-back Marc Guehi and clutched his knee. Thereafter, the Swede received treatment first on the field and then on the sideline, before trying to shake off the pain.
But it was in vain. Directly after a few jogging steps, Kulusevski sat down again and signaled for a substitution, already in the 19th minute.
How serious the injury is remains to be seen, but the Swede looked like he was limping off in fairly good spirits. In just ten days, Tottenham will play the Europa League final against Manchester United.
And the misery would be doubled for Tottenham. Not only was one of their most important players injured, the London team also lost the match 0–2.
The loss means that Tottenham is now slipping down to 17th place in the table, just above the relegation line.
