The KU, which reviews the government's work, has already postponed its report once, and the final document will be presented on Tuesday.

But there will be no customary joint press conference with all parliamentary parties, TT has learned.

The reason is that the parties do not agree on the conclusions of the review.

There will be no invitation to a press conference, which is usually the case, says the committee's chief of staff, Peder Nielsen.

Has been a tradition

Since 2014, under then-chairman Andreas Norlén, now the Speaker of the Riksdag, KU has placed great value on finding a common path forward.

The committee's ambition was not to submit reports with differing opinions but to reach unanimous positions, says Nielsen.

The committee looks set to end up with a joint document, but in two cases, regarding the government's migration agreement with Somalia and the scandal at Lantmäteriet, there are differing opinions about what may have gone wrong. A press release with conclusions was planned but will not be sent out.

We must be able to call a spade a spade, says an opposition member.

A source in the Tidöpartierna says that the fact that it is an election year has probably influenced the committee.

We have tried to be willing to compromise and find unity, but the red-greens have not been interested in that.

According to the source, there must be a constitutional basis for criticism, "not just political opinion."

Kristersson questioned

During the spring, the Swedish National Security Council has examined a number of ministers in various matters, including Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M), who was questioned about the developments surrounding former national security advisor Henrik Landerholm.

Migration Minister Johan Forssell (M) has been questioned about Sweden's migration agreement with Somalia, and Infrastructure and Housing Minister Andreas Carlson (KD) has been questioned about the scandal at Lantmäteriet.
