A dollar costs on Monday afternoon 9.40 kronor. It is the lowest dollar rate since spring 2022.
So far this year, the krona has strengthened by 17.6 percent against the dollar, which makes it the best performing currency among the G10 countries, according to Bloomberg's compilation.
The Norwegian krona has, for comparison, strengthened by 13.6 percent against the dollar so far this year.
A euro costs on Monday 11.02 kronor, which is the lowest level since June this year.
