Norrköping writes on their website that Olsson and the club, as part of Olsson's rehabilitation, will "find a training plan that suits him".
Kristoffer Olsson suffered from several blood clots in the brain in February 2024 and was on a respirator for a while. The contract he had with Danish FC Midtjylland was recently terminated by mutual agreement and the move went back to Norrköping.
So far, he has been allowed to train with Division 2 team Sleipner, but he recently said that he hoped to be able to train with Allsvenskan team IFK Norrköping.
"I'm extremely grateful to IFK and that I get to be part of the training. We're not really taking it much further than that. We're taking it here and now", says Olsson in a statement on the club's website.
