"Swedish healthcare, then! World class! From the emergency call to 112, via the ambulance, to St. Göran Hospital and then to the specialists at Karolinska. It turned out that my arm suddenly going numb was due to an acute, spontaneous spinal cord injury," the SVT profile writes on Instagram.

The "På Spåret" host also writes that he has had a tough and anxious few days in hospital, but that he is impressed by all the "warm super professionals" he has met. He also says he is glad the injury was not worse.

This season's episodes of "På Spåret" have been completed and will not be affected by Luuk's illness.
