The incoming American president Donald Trump and many other world leaders will be there. Now the government announces that Sweden's Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M) will also attend when the fire-ravaged Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris is re-inaugurated this weekend.
Culture Minister Parisa Liljestrand is also part of the Swedish delegation. In the evening, Kristersson will participate in a dinner at the Élysée Palace in Paris at the invitation of President Macron.
The 850-year-old Notre Dame was ravaged in 2019 by a devastating fire that, among other things, destroyed the roof and razed its mighty spire.
