Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M) will not participate in this year's Almedalen Week in Visby, reports Expressen.
The reason is that Kristersson will be present at the major NATO summit in The Hague, which begins on the same day, June 24. The party leader speech on June 26 will instead be held by Finance Minister Elisabeth Svantesson (M).
"On the other hand, the Prime Minister will visit Gotland at the beginning of the week", writes the Prime Minister's press secretary Hanna Strömberg to the newspaper.
