I have not had contact with the President of Turkey on this matter, at least not yet. Right now, the matter is being handled at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with intensive contacts that way, says Kristersson at a press conference.
On a question about whether he does not see reason to be more personally involved in the contacts with Turkey, the Prime Minister responds:
I am very much involved in those contacts. But we have a Ministry of Foreign Affairs for a reason. I do not rule out at all that I will also have my own contacts, but right now it is being handled best at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
