The Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M) will not attend the UN climate summit COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan. The meeting begins on November 11 with heads of state and government from around the world gathering, but Kristersson chooses to prioritize commitments at home.
"This year, the Prime Minister will not attend due to several commitments in the Riksdag, including the party leader debate", writes his press secretary to TT.
Climate and Environment Minister Romina Pourmokhtari (L) leads the Swedish delegation on site and will present Sweden's priorities in the negotiations.
The climate summit COP29 takes place between November 11 and 22.
