There are already laws requiring an injury and death investigation to be set up when certain serious crimes are committed. The idea is to identify gaps in society's safety net and try to prevent the crime from happening again.
Currently, such investigations are carried out when a close relative or former close relative has killed or attempted to kill a woman. The Moderates' proposal means that a crash investigation commission should be established even in cases where the person was not related to the killed woman.
