Kristersson Faces New Inquiry Over Alleged Political Bias in Government

The parties submitting the complaint want the Constitutional Committee to investigate the Prime Minister's involvement, actions, and responsibility for the government's personnel policy, which they believe has become increasingly "politicized", reports TV4 News.

According to the information in Dagens ETC, the Sweden Democrats are accused of registering the opinions of the non-political officials at the Government Offices – and "weeding out" those with left-wing opinions.

The three opposition members submitting the complaint against Kristersson also refer to the revelations by Dagens Nyheter in 2023, when the newspaper reported on irregularities in the Government Offices' salary process, where non-political officials working on implementing the Tidö Agreement were to be given higher salaries.

Kristersson was recently reported to the Constitutional Committee due to the Landerholm affair. However, that investigation was put on hold, since the incident is the subject of a legal process.
