The situation is deteriorating day by day for the Kyiv regime, said Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov, according to AFP.
Ukraine's "space for decision-making" is decreasing, he claims.
Russia's very far-reaching demands for concluding a peace agreement have been repeatedly rejected by Ukraine - most notably the demand that Ukraine give up territories, primarily Donbas in the east.
Peskov said that dialogue with the United States is continuing, the ANSA news agency reported. A meeting with US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner in Russia will take place as soon as a date has been set, likely in the coming weeks, the spokesman said.
We consider it necessary, relevant and important to continue the dialogue, he said.
