Djurgården sells its Japanese left-back Keita Kosugi to Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt. According to the club, it is Djurgården's second largest sale ever.

Kosugi, 19, leaves Djurgården and the Swedish Football League after two successful seasons in which he played 62 competitive matches and made a big impression. Among other things, he was the scorer in Djurgården's quarter-final in the Conference League away to Rapid Vienna.

"We have had a dialogue with Eintracht Frankfurt for a few weeks now and they have been very professional and serious to deal with. It is a well-run club that plays in the Champions League and it is clear that this is reflected in the transfer, which is our second biggest sale ever," says sports director Bosse Andersson on Djurgården's website.

The Stockholm club's biggest sale was when Lucas Bergvall moved to Tottenham in 2024, a transfer that was reportedly worth more than 100 million kronor.
