The people of Kosovo are facing their third election in just over a year. This follows parliament's failure to agree on a new president.
"This situation was completely unnecessary. It is very unfortunate that these members did not choose to act in the interest of the people," Osmani told reporters.
This brings Kosovo back to the political crisis that has characterized the country since inconclusive parliamentary elections at the beginning of last year, which ultimately forced a new election in December.
