The group states that the name started as a joke, but now created a hurdle where organizers have hesitated to book them and potential audience believes they play gender rock.
”There are organizers who do not dare book us as they do not know what kind of evening it will be. Parents email us as they love our music but do not want their children to see that word when they listen to our music. We ourselves have to talk about our band name instead of our music”, the band writes on their Facebook page.
The name was based on a joke and the plan was from the beginning to only release one single track. It became however so popular that the members continued to play together.
Last summer, Korslagda (then Korslagda Kukar) played at the Sweden Rock festival.
