A dolphin has unexpectedly and suddenly died at the Kolmården zoo, which is now cancelling its dolphin shows, reports Aftonbladet.
No cause of death has been established for the dolphin, named Pärla. Therefore, today's and the weekend's dolphin performances are cancelled as a precautionary measure, according to the press service.
The other ten dolphins will receive care and rest according to our routines for the animals' well-being, says Cecilia Björling, information officer, to the newspaper.
