Seven million dollars, equivalent to 67 million kronor.
The sale at the auction house Sotheby's means a new record for collector's items related to the former basketball star. But three more expensive sports jerseys have been sold previously: Babe Ruth's from the World Championship 1932 (26 million dollars), Michael Jordan's from the NBA final 1998 (10.1 million dollars) and Diego Maradona's from the World Championship 1986 (9.3 million dollars).
Kobe Bryant was 41 years old. He died in a helicopter crash in January 2020, where his daughter Gianna and seven other people also lost their lives.
