A suspected attempted murder has occurred after a fight with a knife between two groups in Angered, Gothenburg, on Saturday evening, according to the police.
There are bloodstains at the scene, but none of the parties involved are present. A 25-year-old man with knife injuries has taken himself to the hospital. It is unclear how seriously injured he is.
What I know is that the facial injuries are severe, says officer in charge Morten Gunneng.
No one has been detained at present, but the police have identified several individuals suspected of being involved.
We are primarily looking for more injured people and based on that, we are looking for suspects, says Gunneng.
The police are conducting a large number of witness interviews and reviewing camera surveillance from the area.
We expect to get clarity on this fairly soon.
