Wijk was injured in the U23 international match between Sweden and England last week. It has now been confirmed that the defender sustained a medial ligament injury and is out for the season.
"We are betting that she will be back for pre-season," says Tottenham head coach Martin Ho.
Hanna Wijk left Häcken for Tottenham in the Super League last winter. The full-back was also selected for the senior national team for the World Cup qualifiers in early March.
