SAS owner Air France-KLM is up 11 percent on the Paris stock exchange after the airline reported results above expectations for the latest quarter.

The airline's revenue rose to 8.19 billion euros. Analysts had expected, on average, revenue of 8.13 billion euros, according to a Bloomberg report.

The company also predicts that capacity will increase by three to five percent in the coming year.

However, Air France-KLM says the unfavorable weather in Amsterdam and Paris at the beginning of the year is likely to weigh on next-quarter results by around 90 million euros.
