"When music genius Kleerup contacted me for 'Sign' it was like hearing from a dear old friend who has always been there", says Carola Häggkvist in a press release.
The refined single is described as "muted and warming gospel pop". The song was recorded in the KMH studio in Stockholm, a classic venue for Carola who recorded "Främling" and her first three albums in the same studio.
"Sign" is released on December 6 and is the first single from an upcoming album with Kleerup. The album will be released in March next year.
Kleerup and Carola will also participate in the first Winter Song from Skansen in SVT, broadcast on December 23.
