Britain's King Charles III is releasing his most personal favorite playlist, "The king's music room", ahead of the celebration of the British Commonwealth Day on March 10, writes The Independent.
"Throughout my entire life, music has meant a great deal to me. I know it's the same for many others as well", he says in the introduction to the playlist. He describes how music "comforts us in times of sorrow", "lifts our mood" and "takes us to distant places".
The music consists, among other things, of afrobeat and reggae and music by artists such as Kylie Minogue, Grace Jones, Bob Marley, and Raye.
"The king's music room" is a collaboration with Apple Music and will be released on March 10.
