For 25 years, the Sveriges Radio program has allowed a variety of Swedes to share their thoughts on highs and lows.
Now it's King Carl Gustaf's turn to share his reflections on the air; he will talk about a special memory.
"There are no closed doors for the king either; we thought this was a really fun opportunity," says Emma Boëthius, head of Sveriges Radio's social affairs department in Stockholm.
"Thoughts for the day" is broadcast at 6:25 a.m. on P1 and is available on Sveriges Radio Play.
