The program includes several ballet and opera classics and features court singers Daniel Johansson and Elin Rombo. The Royal Ballet, the Royal Opera Choir, the Royal Swedish Orchestra, and conductor Alan Gilbert will participate.
King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia's 50th wedding anniversary is also being celebrated with a concert in Kungsträdgården, arranged by the City of Stockholm. The King and Queen are guests of honour at the concert, which is open to everyone and offers a musical cavalcade from the past 50 years.
