Middlesbrough thought they had gone on holiday after their defeat to Southampton. But then it was revealed that Southampton had been spying on “Boro” and this week the decision was made to exclude Southampton from the play-off final for the Premier League.
On Thursday, Middlesbrough coach Kim Hellberg held a press conference ahead of this weekend's decider and said it had been "crazy".
"I have great respect for the fans and the players who were not involved. But it has been a strange situation for us. There have been a lot of emotions, but I am happy that we are here," said Hellberg.
