Kim Andersson put a stop to her successful career in the spring by winning the SM gold with Ystad. But Andersson, 43, had to dust off her shoes quickly.

In Wednesday's big win away against Hallby, 32–22, Kim Andersson was back.

An injury to right-back Gustav Näslund meant that the assistant Ystad coach had to make a comeback.

The former national team star, who has played 240 national team matches, started on the bench but made a few substitutions. He was registered for an assist.

It's somewhat fascinating to see. After we made the decision, he's done a training session with the team and, yes…Kim's passing arm never rusts, says coach Oscar Carlén to Ystads Allehanda.

Depending on when Näslund is back, there may be more matches for Kim Andersson.

Kim Andersson has four Swedish Championship gold medals, six Bundesliga titles and three Champions League titles on his list of merits.
