The men, both in their mid-30s, were arrested after one confessed to police officers who had gained his trust during a secret infiltration operation. One of them, who is not a Swedish citizen, has been deported.
The murdered man's body was only found at the end of January. He had lain dead in the forest area for almost a month.
In March, the men were sentenced to life imprisonment in Varberg District Court. The Court of Appeal has upheld the conviction and sentence but, unlike the district court, has ruled that damages should only be paid to the victim's parents and not to the siblings.
